Working closely with the content production team, we are looking for a highly creative and technologically advanced Filmora AI Video Editor to join the team. The perfect candidate would be someone who not only has good general video editing skills but also has experience working with certain AI editing tools like Runway, Descript, Pika Labs, Sora-style tools, Adobe Sensei, and others. This means they would be working to produce videos in a timely manner using AI to optimize their editing. This position would also need a creative person who pays attention to detail and is able to produce videos that can be utilized for social media content, social media marketing, Youtube brand campaigns, and brand storytelling. Key responsibilities include:
Using AI and non-AI editing tools, edit video files to create a finished, polished video product.
Deploy AI for functions like auto-captioning, color correction, background removal, voice synthesis, scriptwriting, motion graphics, and others.
Prepare videos in a variety of lengths and formats to meet the needs of multiple target social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and websites.
Closely partner with content creators, marketers, and designers to capture the goals of the project and the brand within the defined creative territory.
Using the AI platform, enhance the video with transitions, animations, and background music.
Deliver every video, audio, and image asset to the team in good quality, polished, and brand-aligned.
To the best of your ability, make and retain control of a system that organizes and labels files, including media, project documents, and files of different edits of the same project.
Difficulties with the video’s technical elements, like video and audio not matching, background removal not working, and similar processes with the editing AI, are your responsibility.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Relatively new video editing tools enabled AI, such as Runway ML, Pika Labs, Descript, Kapwing, and Adobe softwares like Premiere Pro, After Effects, or even Final Cut Pro.
- Advanced knowledge of video specifications to every platform, like formats, ratios, and type of content.
- Creative capacity to discern and tell stories with visual and audiovisual material, and on-the-spot editing.
- Basic understanding of the different characteristics of scripts, voice overs, and AI assets as well as assets synthesised using AI.
- Ability to listen and be heard; and deliver work within stipulated time.
Detailed Qualifications
Ability to create content in collaboration with brand, influencer, or content marketing, consulting and advertising. Possession of knowledge on tools for animation, visual effects, or in the threes is an added advantage.
