Roles and Responsibilities
Passenger interfacing
Assist passengers with check in
Check travel documents (passport, visa, ID).
Print boarding passes and assign seats.
Assist with special requests (wheelchairs, infants, unaccompanied minors).
Respond to questions concerning flight times, delays, and baggage policies.
Baggage handling assistance
Assign baggage tags and process checked baggage.
Work together with the baggage handling teams.
Track and manage found and lost luggage.
Advise restricted or oversized items to passengers.
Security and documentation
- Oversee and ensure all passengers and luggage checked comply with the safety regulations.
- Work with the security teams for screening.
- Notify handling agents of restricted items.
- Gate and boarding help
- Supervise the boarding gate and announcements.
- Work with the cabin crew and flight dispatch.
- Ensure correct number of passengers and boarding groups.
Air France Customer service
Respond to passenger complaints and service interruptions.
Provide instructions on connecting flights and services.

Coordination and Logistics
Acting as the focal point of contact, managing communication with and among the pilots, flight operation, and ground handling teams.
Ongoing communication of flight statuses
Completion of the flight and informing the concerned parties during flight status changes.
Administrative Tasks
Assistance to baggage loaders, fuelers, and cabin cleaning crew.
Log Work and Report Keeping
Data maintenance, document, and communication handling.
System Update
Input of flight and passenger information into the system.
Crew Scheduling and Cargo Division
Coordination with crew scheduling and cargo division staff.
Qualification and Eligibility
Education
A completed high school with an English along with an additional language is often the minimum. Graduation is often preferred by airlines.
Hospitality, stays, and management
A degree in aviation management or travel is an advantage.
Certifications
Completion of IATA ground operation training is an advantage.
Customer services or airport operation certificates
Language certificates.
