- Keep passengers safe and secure in the flight
- Conduct safety checks and cabin inspections
- Welcome passengers and assist them in seating and storing luggage
- Customer service on the flight
- All safety practices and procedures and regulations are followed
- Serving food and drink and duty free items as per the standard set by the airline
- Deals with and meets passenger expectations complaints and needs in a professional manner
- Handle emergency situations like a medical or overcaution
- Work as a team with the pilots and staff on the ground
- Keep the aircraft cabin in order and clean
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- 10+2 (HSC) from a recognized board
Age Limit
- Between 18 and 27 years (may differ with the recruitment drive)
Height and Physical Standards
- Female: Minimum height is 155 cm
- Male: Minimum height is 165 cm
- Reach is on tiptoes
- 230 cm arm reach
- Weight needs to be proportionate to height per BMI
- Good eyesight and vision as per regulations
Skills and Requirements
- Good proficiency in English and Hindi, particularly in communication
- Knowledge of other languages is helpful in getting the job
- Customer service expectations should be met
- Calm, professional, and confident personality is a must
- Ability to work on weekends and holidays is a requirement
- Mentally and physically fit for flying duties
Willingness to Relocate
Other duties will include travel to other work locations as dictated by the needs of the company.
Training
Training is provided to all chosen candidates and consists of the following.
- Aviation safety and emergency procedures training
- First aid and other medical training
- Training for customer service and grooming
- Operations of the particular aircraft
- Adherence to the policies and regulations dictated by the DGCA
