We are looking for a skilled website developer who has direct experience with WordPress and Shopify. This person should be able to create, update, and manage high-quality, responsive websites that give users a great online experience. Key Functions:
- Maintain WordPress and Shopify sites.
- Develop and modify applications and sites based on needs.
- All sites must be responsive and optimized for performance.
- Integrate third-party applications.
- Communicate and collaborate with design and content to bring sites to life.
- Fix any live site issues.
- Keep sites up to date.
- Keep current with recent trends and updates.
Skills You Should Have:
1-2 years’ experience in WordPress and Shopify.
Strong knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and Liquid.
Shopify themes, custom coding, and app integrations.
Knowledge in WordPress page builders like Element or, Divi, or Bakery.
Understanding of SEO, website speed, and analytics.
Git, hosting, and domain management.
Time management and attention to detail are critical.

The educational requirement is flexible, but most web developers possess at least an associate or bachelor’s degree. They usually attain these degrees in computer science, web development, or information technology. Statistically, most web developers or (about 71%) have attained a bachelor’s degree.
Certifications:
