Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Emergency Management
- Conduct safety checks, demonstrate safety procedures, and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Manage emergencies and provide first aid, if applicable.
- Passenger Assistance
- Welcome passengers and provide assistance with seating, luggage, and any special needs or requests throughout the duration of the flight.
- In-Flight Service Distribute and serve meals, refreshments, and duty-free merchandise as well as assist passengers with any requests and ensure that they are comfortable during the flight.
Pre-Flight Duties: Prepare the aircraft cabin prior to boarding the aircraft, conduct safety checks, and ensure that the cabin is clean and that the aircraft is stocked with all of the necessary supplies.
Post-Flight Responsibilities:
Complete flight reports, clean the cabin area after passengers exit the aircraft, and get ready for the following flight.
Required Skills and Qualifications for the Role:
Communication Skills
Being able to speak effectively is important when speaking to customers and members of the crew.
Customer Service Experience
Having some type of experience is considered beneficial.
