As a 2D Animator, you will work on storyboards, characters, and scenes. You will work on outstanding scenes and work on fine details. 2D Animator responsibilities include determining the requirements of the work and determining how to design the models and the BlueSky animation. As the projects are done, you will work on all the finishing touches based on the feedback. Collaboration and working with others is key to not only the job, but the animation environment of the company. Understanding and drawing movements will help the animation run more smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Make and produce several 2D animations for numerous assignments.
- Work with animators and designers to gain insights to better understand project parameters and goals.
- Create and design the characters, scene transitions, and backgrounds.
- Draft and think of ideas for animation.
- Give suggestions on creative choices and the timeline for production.
- Deliver projects with impeccable precision and within the required timeframe.
- Acknowledge and react to received feedback and apply required modifications.
- Make sure that the pictures and sound are synchronized.
- Keep abreast of current technology trends in animations and advancements in the industry.
Qualifications:
Having worked as a 2D Animator or similar job for a minimum of 2 years
A demo reel with a compilation of your animated work
Must know how to work with 2D animation Adobe Animate and Toon Boom Harmony
Must have excellent artistic skills in drawing and sketching
A sound knowledge of timing, weight, and movement is a must
A personality that is a strong self-starter, but can also work within a team
A must is creativity and passion toward the project
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education; degree in animation or fine arts is a plus to have.
Work Environment: You will be working from our creative studio with the option of working remotely. You may have to travel occasionally for collaborative working sessions.

Immediate Supervisor: Reports to the Animation Director or Project Manager.
Salary: Data market and business considerations as well as the experience and qualifications of the candidate will determine the salary.
