Responsibilities:
Creating and Developing: Developing prototypes for apps, coding efficiently and neatly, and implementing new features.
Testing and Debugging:
Test rigorously, fix bugs, and able to optimize performance on different platforms: iOS, Android, Web, etc.
Working Responsibly: Collaborating with UX/UI designers, project managers, and backend to accomplish business aims.
Updating:
Maintaining existing apps to make them compatible with others and adding on APIs and databases.
Documenting: For the development process and writing technical documentation.
Skills Needed for the Position:
Technical: Experience with programming languages (Java, Swift, Kotlin, Python, and JavaScript) and knowledge of software development fundamentals, database, and API integration.
Non-Technical: Problem solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, creativity, and communication.
Education and Experience: Usually, you must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a master’s if you are applying for a senior position.
What They Do:
- Take the user requirements and design mockup and convert them into interactive and functioning applications.
- Oversee the full life cycle from the primary concept of the app to the deployment, addition, and updating of the app.
