As a video editor, you take all of the footage that gets shot and transform it into a clean, final video product that has good flow and engages the viewer by cutting and arranging the video clips, adding audio, sound, music, and graphics, and putting on finishing touches and graphics. You work with the director and/or other team members in order to achieve the specific goals and objectives of the assigned video in order to create the video for specific industries such as marketing or entertainment while maintaining company flow, quality and standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Editing Footage:
Taking raw video clips and making a narrative by cutting, trimming, and arranging the video clips.
- Audio and Sound: Putting in voiceovers, and/or background music and sound effects and then adjusting the audio levels.
- Visuals:
Putting in graphics, and text overlays, and then including transitions and special effects.
Collaboration: Working with the directors, producers, and marketing teams to understand the vision and goals.
- Quality Control:
Making sure the final product is polished, there are no errors, and the product meets the brand standards.

Technical Tasks: Tasks like color correction, file management, and exporting in a variety of formats.
