Teaching involves many roles and Global Indian International School , including developing and delivering instructional materials, classroom management, assessing and reporting on learning outcomes, and providing an inclusive environment to help students grow both academically and personally which takes strong skills in communication, organization, flexibility. Engaging in collaboration with parents and other staff members is also part of the role. Principal responsibilities also include developing curricula, activity supervision, providing feedback, and ensuring safety which vary by the level of students and the specific subjects taught.
Positions Required:
- Primary Teachers (PRT): Teaching basic subjects like English, Math, Science, EVS, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Secondary/Senior Secondary Teachers (TGT/PGT): English, Math, Science and Social Studies subject specialists for senior classes.
- Pre-Primary/Preschool Teachers: Early childhood educators with Montessori qualifications.
- Subject-Specific Teachers: Teachers for Art, Computer, Physical Education (PE), Music, and Speech & Drama.
- Specialized Roles: Curriculum Developers, School Counselors, Teacher Trainers, Remedial Teachers.
What your role will entail:
Teaching: Describe the curriculum, develop lesson plans and activities, and instruct in relation to the discipline.
Evaluation: Assess and give feedback on assignments, conduct and score examinations, and monitor and report on student performance.
Discipline: Enforce classroom rules and ensure order to promote and protect a positive and safe environment for all students.
Counseling: Assist students in building skills for self-management, effective study strategies, career decision making, and overall personal growth.
Engagement: Communicate with guardians and work with other educators.
Other Responsibilities (Including Teaching):
Meetings with Parents:
Communicating student performance and discussing issues.
Co-Curricular Activities: Managing tours, clubs, and/or remedial class activities.
Continued Education:
Working with other teachers.

Qualifications Required:
Primary/Pre-Primary:
D. El. Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) or B. Ed.
With regards to preschools, being patient and having preschool, activity-based training, is crucial.
Secondary (Classes 6-10) & Higher Secondary (11-12):
B. Ed. (compulsory for government)
Plus, a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in the subject you teach (e.g. B. Sc./M. Sc. for Science, B. A./M. A. for English).
