Indian Air Force Recruitment 2025 Age Limit If you want to know work vacancy related to Indian Air Force.
- Minimum Age Limit: 17.5 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 21 Years
- Aspirants born in between (including these dates) can submit their applications.
- If at the time of enrolment, the candidate is successful in all stages of Selection Process then the upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 (Intermediate) should have passed with Mathematics, Physics and English. Minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- Diploma in Engineering: 3-year diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, IT. At least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in diploma.
- Vocational Course: 2 years trade course with Physics and Maths as non-vocational subjects. At least 50% marks in the aggregate of 3 subjects including English.
Mandatory Medical Standards
- Height: For Male Candidates – Minimum acceptable height is 152 CMS
- For Female Aspirants: Minimum height of 152 CMS is essential. Lower height will be considered for candidates belonging from North East and hilly region of in case they height is 147 CMS.
- Weight : Weight should be in proportion to height and age as per AFI.
- Chest (for Male Candidates) – Well proportioned and well developed chest wall. Minimum Chest Measurement Will be 77 CMS and minimum chest expansion 05 CMS.
- For Female Candidates – Well developed but not obese and Chest should expand with minimum range of 05 CMS.
- Hearing: Candidate should have hearing which is good i.e., which is required to hear a forced whisper with each ear at a distance of 6 meters.
- Dental : Must have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
- General Health: The candidate should be in good physical & mental health, free from any disease/disability and should be free from any sort of malformation.
- Gynaecological Examination (For female candidates) – On the gynaecological examination the external genitalia, hernia orifices and the perineum, any sign of stress urinary incontinence or genital prolapse beyond the introitus will be screened.
- Pregnancy(For women candidates)-Any woman candidate, if found pregnant, at any stage her candidature is liable to be rejected and as such a certificate of non pregnancy should be produced after appearing the written test.
- Visual criteria: 6/12 in each eye with or without glasses
