Role Functions & Learning Opportunities
IATA / Ticketing Executive
- Manage PNR creation, ticketing, cancellations, refunds, and document processing.
• Execute BSP and airline reconciliation, fare rule management, and ticket revalidation.
• Operate GDS applications: Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo.
Travel Ops / Travel Desk / Backend
- Oversee booking changes, travel documents, and visas.
• Refund processing, ledger management, and agent coordination.
• Compliance with travel policies, cost control, and policy adherence.
Airport Ground / Passenger Service
- Passenger check-in, document checks, and luggage tagging.
• Assist with boarding and deboarding; provide customer assistance at the airport counter.
• Address and solve queries regarding damaged and missing luggage.
• Manage airport arrivals and departures and coordinate ramp functions.
Ramp & Baggage Handler
- Safely load and unload cargo, luggage, and mail.
• Work with aircrew for operational turnarounds.
• Control the aircraft and use ground support systems.
Customer Service in Airlines
