A Government Staff Nurse’s primary responsibility is delivering primary healthcare to specific regions such as public hospitals, primary health centers, and other health facilities. 💼 Key Responsibilities

Observe, and document ongoing health and other needs of the patient.

Give medications, injections and IV fluids ordered by Medical Officers.

Assist in surgeries, deliveries, and any other critical emergency situations.

Prepare medical documentation and reports for the administrative division of the medical facility.

Give immediate assistance and relief to a patient in critical condition and also help in performing basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Promote and teach the patient, and the family the importance of personal and medical care to control and optimize the health.

Ensuring the ward is cleaned, and waste is managed in a responsible and appropriate manner, and sterilized.

Assist in the supervision of the ward supporting the attendants and other staff in other hospital functions.

Adhere to the instructions set out by ethical and safety standards in healthcare provided by the government.

Join other health professionals in public activities relating to health, including immunization and health education.

Routing of documentation to appropriate government health services and hospitals. Understanding of the scheme.

🎓 Educational Qualification

Must be GNM diploma nursing and midwifery or its equivalent, for example, B. Sc. nursing to be earned from recognized institution.
