What will you do
- Tell compelling stories through the editing and assembling of AI and video footage into final videos.
- Enhance, refine and create video content through editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects and AI tools like Runway.
- Elevate the video through sound design, color grading, motion graphics, subtitles, transitions and visual effects.
- Work with content strategists, directors, copywriters and other people to make marketing briefs and scripts into videos that are beautiful, match branding and are to the point.
Organize video assets and workflow of raw video footage, AI-generated content, audio and graphics to ensure seamless editing and final edits are delivered to the correct platforms and formats.
Stay abreast of new AI video editing software, methods, and best practices to enhance efficiency of production and level-up creative quality.
Qualifications & Skills
Candidates must have proven experience as video editor, or, have demonstrable video production/editing (traditional or AI-assisted) skills.
A candidate should have proficiency with all major video editing and post production software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or their equivalent) and at least rudimentary experience with AI-video tools as well as willingness to acquire more AI skills.
Candidates should have strong visual storytelling skills, so they should understand pacing, composition, and narrative flow to be able to analyze raw footage or AI-generated content and put together an engaging story.
Proficiencing in sound design, color correction/grading, motion graphics, subtitling, as well as visual effects is a strong asset.
Candidates should be able to take multiple projects, meet deadlines, at the same time keeping high quality. For that, they need to have good organization, time management, and teamwork.
