Pre-flight Operations:

  • Pre-flight Safety Checklist: Before every flight, check emergency gear (oxygen, life vests, fire extinguishers).
  • Pre-flight Cabin Prep: After clearing the plane from previous flight, before every flight, restock supplies, clean the cabin, and make sure the cabin is prepared for boarding guests, the cabin crew and the flight attendants.
  • Pre-flight Guest Coordination: As the flight passengers begin to board the aircraft, greet guests, direct them to the correct seat, assist guests in the correct storage of luggage, and provide extra assist for guests in need (older, disabled, etc.).
  • Pre-flight Safety Procedures Briefing: These will be done as all flight passengers have boarded the aircraft and take a seat and must also include a safety briefing for all flight attendants onboard.

In-Flight Duties:

Passenger Service: Flight attendants distribute food, drinks, and travel comforts, including blankets and pillows.

Requirements and Skills:
