Skills Required:
- Great communications and interpersonal skills.
- Able to remain calm and think critically in emergency situations.
- Good physical fitness and emotionally stable.
- Able and willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- English fluency is required. Other languages are a plus.
- Team spirit and adaptability to multicultural environments.
Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification of 10+ 2 Higher secondary from a recognized Board. Graduation in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, and Communication are preferred. Candidates must successfully complete Cabin Crew Training approved by the DGCA or respective aviation authority.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: 18-27 Years (may vary by airline).
Height: 155cm for females and 170 cm for males (relaxable for regional airlines).
Vision: Normal or corrected to 6/6.
Medical fitness: Candidates must meet the medical and physical standards set by the airline.
Work Environment:
Cabin Crew members work on domestic and international routes. They also travel and stay in different cities and countries. The long and irregular hours of work demand a lot of stamina, professionalism, and patience, which can, at times, be a challenge.
Career Growth
You can advance from a Junior Flight Attendant to Senior Cabin Crew, Purser, or even Cabin Crew Manager. After gaining experience, other career options become available in ground operations, training, or management at an airline.
Salary Package
For domestic airlines, the starting salary is between ₹31500 – ₹47600 each month. For international airlines, the salary is higher, and you also get extra perks like free travel, lodging, medical insurance, and other allowances
