Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist passengers to board along with checking that the process is appropriately followed.
- Carry out the required safety regulations and safety briefings on board and followed prior to takeoff.
- Throughout the flight, passengers are served the specific meal, snack, and drink items that are available.
- Respond to the needs of the passengers and assist with First Aid as well as and with any emergency services as needed.
- As diplomatically as possible, respond to any issues and unanswered questions.
- Don’t leave the cabin unattended, and make sure that it is clean, safe, and well stocked.
- Continue communication with the Captain and controlling staff during the flight while also responding to the needs of the passengers.
- In the case of turbulence, medical issues, or the need to evacuate the plane, take charge and direct the passengers appropriately.
- Upon returning to the airport, ensure that relevant information on the flight is securely documented.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Educational Achievement: Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board, A Hospitability, Travel or Tourism mgt. will be a plus.
Age Limit: Generally between 18 to 27 years(listed ranges may vary by airline).

Equally important, Weight: BMI must indicate weight is appropriate for height
Must have strong vision and in good health
Other: Must have full body flexibility and good balance starting from the waist
