Front Desk Officers (FDOs) are the first point of contact as they greet, answer the phone, sort mail, book conference rooms, and do little administrative tasks like entering data and managing reception supplies and filling in data in spreadsheets. FDOs make the first impression of the organization and must keep the reception area neat and order other employees in the organization. FDOs must have great communication, are organized, know how to multitask, and can use a computer, especially Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming Visitors: Greet and welcome our guests and help them sign in to our visitor log. Give them visitor badges and help them find where they need to go.
  • Communication Hub: Greet guests and answer and make phone calls while deciding who they should talk to.
  • Mail and Deliveries: Distribute mail and packages to the appropriate people and contact courier services when necessary.
  • Administrative Support: Help employees with administrative tasks like booking meeting rooms, scheduling, data entry, creating files and reports, etc.
  • Office Maintenance: Keep the reception area and the common areas of the office organized, stocked, and clean.
  • Inquiries: Provide basic information about the company and assist with minor questions.

Skills and Background:

         1.Skills:

Some of the skills that we wish you would have are strong verbal and written communication skills, and that you will know how to interact with different types of people and know how to stay organized. You should be able to do multiple things at once, and you should have some mastery when it comes to being professional and providing customer service. Finally, you should know how to use Microsoft Office.

Experience: You should have some previous work experience as a receptionist, or at least some similar position.

In general, we require you to have a high school diploma as a minimum, however, having a higher degree is better.
