A Data Entry Operator is responsible for entering and managing information in a company database or other digital records. This position allows for a flexible work schedule. An ideal candidate is someone who works well independently, has good time management skills, and can work quickly and accurately. This position does not allow for mistakes, and confidentiality must always be maintained.
Responsibilities
Transferring information into databases, spreadsheets, and software systems
Looking over the entered data for gaps and mistakes
Changing information in databases based on the most current information
Keeping sensitive data private
Sorting and getting documents ready for data entry
Making and sending reports to the correct department
Working with members of your team
Adhering to data entry instructions

Preferred Qualifications
Must of completed High School/Post Secondary Education
Ability to communicate in English
Must type at least 30-40 words per minute
Experienced with computers, specifically MS Excel, Word, and Email, and the Internet
Focused an entire day and stay on deadlines
Quick learner that can solve problems on their own
This is an entry level position and many companies will train on the job

Must be comfortable with working on a computer for extended periods of time
