Key Tasks
- Create and oversee systems that collect data on production, stock, and sales.
- Dig into production data to spot slow-downs and apply hand-on fixes.
- Build and keep up dashboards that show vital performance numbers (KPIs) like speed, defects, and downtime.
- Build predictive models so that stock, future sales, and production schedules are optimal.
- Work closely with floor and management teams to put data-driven fixes into practice.
- Analyze trends to steer product design and stay in sync with what shoppers want.
- Track quality metrics and suggest clear, doable changes.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Practice in collecting and reporting data, preferably in a production setting.
- Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and Python or R; familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Data Studio) is a bonus.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to explain findings to peers and management in simple terms.
- Practical mindset, ready to apply solutions even when resources are tight.
