OpenAI An ethical hacker, or white hat hacker, seeks to improve system and network defenses and patch attack vectors before attack from malicious hackers by finding and fixing security vulnerabilities.
OpenAI Responsibilities:
- Conduct Penetration Testing: Simulates cyber-attacks on an organization’s systems, networks, or applications to find security weaknesses.
- Vulnerability Assessments: Reviews security measures and assesses security controls to determine how secure an organization is.
- Develop Security Strategies: Works on and implements measures to reduce exposure of sensitive data and other prohibited information.
- Document Findings: Create detailed reports and give advice on how security can be enhanced.
- Collaboration with IT: Work with the IT teams to close the gaps and improve security.
- Training and Employee Awareness: Offer training and awareness on cyber security measures to the employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: Preferably holding or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or any other related degree.
Certifications: More desirable to have Certified Ethical Hacker (C.H.E.), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), and other related credentials.

Experience: Required 2 to 5 years in any information security or ethical hacking.
Technical Skills: Good knowledge of network protocol, operating systems, and web applications, and strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and Java or C++.
