A Staff Nurse is responsible for caring for patients by checking what they need, giving medicine or other treatments, helping and teaching patients and family members, and keeping track of what they do and work with other professionals to guarantee the best possible outcome for the patients in a hospital or clinic. This role requires critical thinking, compassion and good communication. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Care Planning:
Performing assessments, determining the needs, and making, and putting into action the care plans.
Direct Patient Care: Administering medications, injections, and wound care. Helping with procedures and monitoring vital signs.
Patient & Family Education:
Explaining conditions and treatment options and instructions for self-care.
Documentation: Keeping patient files correct, secure and current.
Collaboration:
Teaming with physicians, other nurses, and other members of the care team.
Environment Management: Making sure patient care areas are clean, safe, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Supervision:
Overseeing the work of junior nurses or support staff.

1. Meet Basic Requirements
