Key Responsibilities:
Rewrite, edit and proof read original content for social media digital marketing materials, bloggs, websites and email newsletters.
Design content marketing strategies that are tailored to the clients target audiences with the social media and marketing teams.
Create content to engage clients, and that is sharable and also fits the objectives and brand voice the clients are portraying on social media.
Use trending topics in the industry to generate outstanding, relevant content.
To gain organic traffic and improved rankings, content is properly optimized for search engines.
Have knowledge in social media, digital marketing and content creation and analysis.
Engage in discourse with graphic designers and video editors to ensure the execution and visual content of the pieces you worked on is outstanding.
Gain understanding and insight of all the clients simultaneously and ensure that the tone, style and messaging is accurate across all platforms.
Be a self-starter with initiative to maintain and hit deadlines while working on several projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Content Writer, with a preference for social media marketing agencies or digital agencies.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong writing, editing, and proofreading sklls.
Well-versed in multiple social media sites and their specific content demands (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Tik Tok).
Understanding of the fundamentals of content SEO and how to optimize content.
Capacity to develop content intended for diverse industries and various target markets.
Strong imagination and interest in brand creation and storytelling.
Excellent time management skills and well organized.
Able to work independently and in a collaborative team setting.
Basic video editing and graphic design skills are an added advantage.
