Eligibility:
1. Educational Qualification:
Conductor: A 10th-HSC Pass Certificate from a Recognized Board. Conductor license and a first aid certificate are prerequisites.
Driver: 10th Pass with a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) Driving License and at least four years of working experience.
Clerk/Junior Assistant: A Graduate/12th Pass in any stream with basic computer knowledge/skills.
Helper/Mechanic: ITI in relevant trades (Motor Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Fitter etc.).
2. Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 Years.
Maximum Age: Usually around 33-35 Years (Depends on Post).
Relaxation: Age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and Ex-servicemen as per the Government of Gujarat standards.
Selection Process:
GSRTC maintains a transparent and merit-based selection system by executing:
Written OMR Test:
An objective test that covers: General Knowledge, Grammar in Gujarati and/or English, and Basic Computer Knowledge.
Skill Test:
A compulsory driving test for applicants for Driver Jobs.
Academic Weightage:
For some positions, 70% weightage is given to the educational marks and the written marks 30%.
Document Verification:
Verification of original licenses, educational documents, and identification documents.
