Army recruitment in India consists of registering online, preparing for the written test, and completing the physical fitness test and medical exam. General Eligibility: –
- General Duty – GD:
Education: The 10th grade must be completed with a 45% average and at least 33% in every subject.
- Technical: –
Education: 10+2 with Physics, Chem, Math’s, and English (an average of at least 50% is required with 40% minimum in each subject) is needed OR a 10th grade certificate with a 2-year ITI/Polytechnic.
Soldier Clerk/Storekeeper: –
Education: 10+2 with a minimum average of 60% in each subject AND 50% in English and Math’s/Accounts.
Physical Standards: –
Height: 162-168 cm, depending on other criteria.
Weight: It must be proportional to your age and height.
Important Notes: –
Physical Tests: The tests require candidates to complete running, push-ups, sit-ups, a balance test, and an Adaptability Test.
Medical: This will take place at the rally.
Process of Registration Online.
a. All students need to log in and check eligibility status before moving ahead to create their profiles. During the Registration and Educational Qualification steps, you need to fill in the qualifications you need to apply for in the Registration step for the respective category you applied for.
b. Online Registration, meaning the submission of the application, will start only in these specified dates.
