As a Software Developer Intern, you will help in developing software applications, and thus will be required to carry out a number of tasks like the assignment of writing and testing of codes, debugging programs, and working hand in hand with the software development team. Tasks and deliverables:
- Write clean, efficient, and easily understood code
- Debug and resolve any software issues that arise or are reported
- Cooperate with the development team to bring about assignments in a timely manner
- Engage in code reviews in order to help improve the code base
- Support the team in the planning and workmanship of features
Competences:
- Fluency in English, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge and experience in software development with the use of Java, Python, or C++
- Exhibit a high level of critical and evaluative thinking
- Ability to produce code in a way that is easy to understand and work with
- Knowledge of development tools such as Git, Visual Studio, and others.
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail when completing tasks
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Preferred Qualifications
Enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
