Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and run penetration tests on web apps, mobile apps, APIs, both internal and external networks, cloud services, and full infrastructure.
  • Carry out vulnerability checks, validate exploits, test privilege elevation, and conduct post-exploitation to show how a weakness could affect a company.
  • When permitted, lead approved social engineering tests, like a phishing simulation.
  • Write clear vulnerability reports that include risk scores, technical details, proof-of-concept evidence, and easy-to-follow remediation steps.
  • Teamed up with developers, DevOps staff, and sys admins, set priority for fixes, check that fixes work, and encourage secure development.
  • Build and refine custom scripts, tools, and automated checks that speed up testing and make it easy to repeat.
  • Take part in threat modeling, red teaming, security code reviews, and security architecture checks.
  • Keep up with new threats, fresh attack tricks, and shifting security trends, and share what you learn with the crew.
  • Make sure all tests obey relevant laws, the company’s policies, and the rules set for each engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Security, or several years of hands-on work in the field.
  • Security certs like OSCP, CEH, eCPPT, or CRTP are nice to have but not mandatory.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of practical experience in pen-testing, red team, or offensive security roles.
  • Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, common network protocols, web tech (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript), authentication systems, and leading cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Comfortable using tools including Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, and Wireshark, plus basic scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Some exposure to container tech (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and security of infrastructure-as-code is helpful.
  • Strong written and spoken skills for translating complex tech issues to non-technical teams.
  • Professional integrity, a keen eye for details, a “stick with it” mindset, and curiosity to solve tough challenges.

What We Offer

  • A caring, security-led workplace with chances to advance your career and support for certs.
  • Competitive pay, flexible hours, and the power to protect real users and critical systems every day.
  • Team environment that encourages everyone to learn, disclosure responsibly, and keep improving
