Drug and psychological assessment

Completion of these steps will entitle you to receive a formal offer of employment.



You must hold all relevant licenses plus a valid DGCA Medical on your joining date.

Eligibility Criteria IndiGo Airline

Airlines need candidates to have:

  • A current Class 1 medical certificate and a CPL or ATPL with DGCA.
  • A type rating that is relevant to the job (Airbus A320, Boeing 737, ATR). A few airlines will train newly qualified CPL candidates.
  • Every airline will have a minimum requirement that needs to be met.
  • Must demonstrate English proficiency, have strong ERP and CRM skills, and successfully complete a simulator assessment.
  • Air India is the only airline that has a cadet pilot program that is available to 18 – 30-year-old graduates who have acquired 60% or more in 10 + 2 (Physics, English, and Maths).

DGCA has recently suggested, and is awaiting approval from the Ministry, that students from the Commerce and Arts streams will be allowed to enter CPL training. This will greatly expand the number of candidates who will be able to apply.

Role and Responsibilities:

In Projects, supervision and navigation of different types of UAVS

Client demonstrations of the products, and research and development testing

Planning of missions on autopilot, Operating UAVs for mapping, monitoring, demonstrations, and routine evaluations. Simple arrangement of UAVs and getting accessories ready for the flight needed
