RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: To apply, one must be between the age of 18 and 36.
As per the government regulations, candidates from reserved categories are given age relaxations.
Educational Qualification:
An individual needs to have completed the 10th grade from a recognized board or have an ITI certificate from a relevant trade.
A National Apprenticeship Certificate, NAC issued by National Council for Vocational Training, is also valid.
Nationality: Citizens of India or others of Indian origin who have migrated to select countries.
Physical and Medical Standards:
Physical and medical standards of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) must be met to carry out the job effectively.
Selection Process: Selection consists of a Computer Based Test (CBT), then a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification and medical examination.
Railway Group D Exam Pattern:
- Total Questions:
This examination consists of one hundred multiple choice questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks:
This CBT is held for a total of 100 marks, and each question carries 1 mark each.
- Duration:
The time limit to answer this examination is 90 minutes. This time limit is 120 minutes for disabled candidates.
- Negative Marking:
For wrong answers, there is a penalty where 1/3 mark is subtracted. Questions that were not attempted are not penalized.
