As a security guard, you are needed to protect people, property, and valuables from being stolen, entered without authorization, and any other threats. For this role, a person must be responsible, alert, fit, and disciplined. Essential Functions
Observe all authorized entrances and exits to ensure that only permitted individuals and visitors come within the premises.
Perform regular checks and patrols within the property to ensure that safety and security procedures are being followed.
Immediately notify superiors of any observed suspicious behavior, security breach, or any other type of emergency.
Daily logs, including the movements of visitors, and other occurrences are to be maintained.
During the course of a special or emergency event, help in the organization of the crowd.
Use of security equipment including but not limited to Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) monitors, metal detectors, and alarm systems.
Assist the staff, customers, or residents as required.
Comply with safety procedures and let the police or other safety staff do their job within legal prescriptions.
Qualifications
Ability to stay alert and act in a split-second in emergency cases.
Ability to speak and listen as well as notice other people.
Having good health and being physically able to work for an extended period.
Having enough knowledge to work with observation equipment and other security arrangements.
Ability to work as a team and take instructions.
Having a clear police record, being able to control oneself, and able to take voluntary liability.
Minimum Educational Qualification
Recognized Boards settlement at Secondary level or completion of higher Secondary level.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing appropriate qualifications for the Security Training PSARA License.
Retired members of the Armed Forces or ex-servicemen are equally encouraged.
Salary and Benefits
Offered to Freshers, entry level position salary is ₹12,000 – 18,000 per month.
Issued to experienced Guards/Supervisors ₹ 20,000 – 30,000+ along with other benefits per month.
Company policies on overtime and night shifts are applicable.
Working on duty, free uniforms, available accommodation (under certain conditions), and food.
Among other organizations, health insurance, bonus and provident fund (PF) are available.
There exists a possibility of the position being kept as a Security Supervisor or Head Guard for enhancement.
Selection Process
Verification of documents: Application form along with a passport photograph, address and qualification proof.
Physical test: Comprises of fitness and endurance tests.
Interview: Security company representatives and the firm’s Human Resource department.
Discipline, emergency thorough training followed by a light briefing of the policies and procedures.
Pre-Employment: Performance and background evaluation to be the final requisition on appointment.
