Ticket Counter
The Ticket Countered is responsible for designing, planning, and selling customized domestic and international holiday packages to individual, group, and corporate clients. The role involves understanding customer requirements, suggesting suitable destinations, preparing itineraries and quotations, handling bookings, and ensuring a smooth travel experience from enquiry to post-travel feedback. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Handling
Respond to new and existing requests. Make sure to answer all inquiries by phone, walk-ins, and through the internet.
Determine the travel requests from the customer, like travel dates, travel budget, travel interests, and other travel specific requests.
Provide travel recommendations based on customer requests, make suggestions on travel destinations and travel itineraries, and recommend travel accommodations.
Design travel plans and travel itineraries based on request, and provide prices and quotes. This includes travel plans both national and international.
Make travel arrangements by answering all inquiries and selling available travel packages.
Maintain contact with the customer from the initial request to travel completion and through to the customer delivering feedback.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great understanding of the products and destinations. both international and local.
- Sales-driven with the ability to negotiate.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
- Good at the tools of the Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationships Management software, and online booking systems.
- Ability to find solutions and work under pressure.
Qualification & Experience:
A degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Commerce, or something similar.
A maximum of 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant for both international and domestic travel.
Experience with DMCs, B2B suppliers, and clients is a plus.
Familiarity with Amadeus or Galileo is a plus for bookings and flight reservations.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 6 days a week (10.30 AM – 7.30 PM).
