Web developers design, build, and change sites and web applications based on what the Infosys customer needs while making sure it’s easy to use. Manage, update, and improve our websites on Shopify and other platforms. Infosys Candidates should understand the basic concepts of web design and have some experience with Element and/or Page Builder. We welcome beginners with strong design and a passion for web development.
Infosys Responsibilities:
Website Development: Create and enhance secure web pages and applications using programming languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to discern their needs and design likes, transforming them into workable web solutions.
Testing and Maintenance: Do regular site audits and ongoing maintenance, testing to keep the website running smoothly and all features functioning properly.
Performance Monitoring: Build functions to monitor website performance and keep track of users and activity over time.
Team Collaboration: Partner with other developers, designers, and stakeholders for seamless integration and on-time delivery of the project.
Work Experience and Basic Qualification:
- Educational Qualification: web computer science or certified in web development
Web Development Certificates or bachelor’s in computer science or similar discipline are common educational qualifications.
- Web Development Skills: Knowledge and Skills
Programming Languages – web markup and frameworks
Knowledge of web markup and programming languages are expected (e.g. PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript and others).
- Core Skills: Problem Solving, Troubleshooting and Usability
Identifying and resolving issues smoothly and efficiently.
- Work Experience: web development
Web development and prior project experience or roles are required.
Work Environment:
Setting: Generally, web developers work in office environments with their coworkers, or they work on the company’s remote work policy. If travel occurs, it will be for team building or client meetings.
