Railway Group D Vacancy 2025: Exciting news for everyone looking for a job in the railways! We just finished the official notification to recruit 22,000 1st level positions in the railways. We will soon be starting online applications for these positions. People will be able to submit their application once the online applications become active on the official website of the railways: rrbapply.gov.in.
Educational Qualification?
To qualify for these positions, the applicant must at least have completed the 10th grade, from any recognized board. The openings are as follows:
- Assistant (Track Machine) – 600 posts
- Assistant (Bridge) – 600 posts
- Track Maintainer Grade IV – 11,000 posts
- Assistant (P-Way) – 300 posts
- Assistant (TRD) – 800 posts
- Assistant Loco Shed (Electrical) – 200 posts
- Assistant Operations (Electrical) – 500 posts
- Assistant (TL & AC) – 500 posts
- Assistant (C & W) – 1000 posts
- Pointsman-B – 5000 posts
- Assistant (S & T) – 1500 posts
Educational Qualification?
To qualify for these positions, the applicant must at least have completed the 10th grade, from any recognized board.
Age Limit?
The candidates in consideration must have their ages be in between 18 to 36 years.

Application Fee?
Only after paying the application fee also in accordance to their categories. The fees are as follows:
- General, OBC, EWS – ₹500
- SC, ST, EBC, Women, Transgender – ₹250
Selection Process?
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Salary?
For the selected candidates, the pay scale will range from ₹22,500 to ₹25,380.
How to Apply Group D From
All candidates who wish to apply for the Railway examination are advised to carefully read the complete notification and instructions before filling out the application form. The application form must be filled accurately and completely.
After submitting the application form, candidates are required to pay the prescribed application/examination fee. Please note that the application will be considered incomplete without successful payment of the fee, and such applications may be rejected. The examination fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
