Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed matriculation (10th) or 10+2 from a recognized board. Please ensure you have the necessary educational documents ready for verification during the selection process.
Age Requirements:
Applicants should be between 18 and 28 years old as of January 1, 2025. This means candidates born from January 1, 1997, to January 1, 2007, are eligible. Government-approved age relaxations apply where relevant.
Physical Standards:
Male Candidates
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 6 inches
- Chest (Unexpanded): 32 inches
- Chest (Expanded): 33.5 inches
Female Candidates:
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 2 inches
Relaxation:
Candidates from the Gorkha Community and Bot Tribe receive a height relaxation of 2 inches.
Physical Endurance Test (PET) Requirements:
For Male Candidates:
- 1600-meter run in 6.5 minutes
- 20 push-ups (one complete cycle counts as one)
For Female Candidates:
- 1000-meter run in 6.5 minutes
- Shot Put (4 kg): 14½ feet within three attempts

Selection Process:
Written Exam: All candidates must appear for a written exam. Those with NCC certificates will earn bonus points as per S.O. 290 guidelines.
Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who meet eligibility criteria will be invited to the PST. Selection for PST will be in a ratio of 6:1 based on the number of available vacancies in each category. This test is qualifying in nature.
Physical Endurance Test (PET): Successful candidates from the PST will participate in the PET, which is also qualifying.
